With this mobileTV platform you can receive video messages on your mobile Phone device. Broadcasts are target group specific. There is no need for interaction with the receiver. Our technique uses a very small applet which is installed on the mobile Phone device and this applet communicates with the server. The server schedules the broadcasts per channel and delivers the clips to the mobile phone.
Most of the mobile Phone devices with connection to the Internet are suitable for mobYclips. Of all the options are available depends on the brand and model of your device. Check if your device is compatable on www.blendedmedia.nl/supported.
To see if your mobile Phone device is supported, send a text message “moby demo” to 5040. If supported you will receive a text message containing a link to install the applet, When your device is not supported yet, you will receive a text message with that statement. You will receive a message as soon as your device is supported.
Choose Options, Select Channel Selector. Your internet browser will be started and the Channel Selector will be opened. Select My Channels. You will see an overview of the channels you are subscribed to. Choose Unsubscribe for the channels you don’t want to receive anymore. After you see the confirmation you can close the browser. You won’t receive clips from this channel anymore.
Choose Options, select Close applet. The mobile applet will be closed and you won’t receive clips anymore. ATTENTION: by closing the application you did not unsubscribe for any channel.
Unsubscribe through sending a text message: send a text message “moby off” to 5040. This way you will be unsuscribed from the channel. The keyword is the same you used to subscribe.
Check your internet connection by opening any website from your
browser. If there is no connection available, ask your provider.
Some models use a preview for presenting a text message. Open the text message to select the link. See your device manual for instructions.
Some devices need a preferred access point to use applications. If asked so during the install procedure, confirm with Yes or check your device manual.
Usually date and time are not correct on your device. Check your device manual to correct date and time.
There is not enough memory available for running the application. Free memory by deleting other applications or data on your device.
If you have installed a memory card on your device, you can choose for installing on the memory card during the installation procedure.
If you have a previous provider used with your device, you need to install the internet settings usedby your current provider. Check your provider for instructions. Some devices need a preferred access point to use applications. If asked so during the installprocedure, confirm with Yes or check your device manual. Sometimes it is necessary to stop and restart the mobYclips player to receive clips.
A broadcast is scheduled but there is no clip played at the time shown. The time shown changes to a new time. You have a very bad connection. Help us to increase our service by reporting location and date to support@blendedmedia.nl. Try to connect to a WiFi network. See your device manual for instructions.
There is not enough memory available.
To prevent high costs for dataconnection abroad roaming is not available for our player. We advise to use a local prepaid card when you are abroad to receive clips.
On the iPhone our player cannot detect Roaming
automatically. To prevent high costs for dataconnection abroad select
Network Data Roaming Off on your device.
Our player uses a wrong ID on your device. Remove the mobile applet and the text messages you received to install. Send a new text message “moby” to 5040 and reinstall the player.
You can see the status of the applet such as Next Broadcast Also error messages will appear in this screen. The playlist shows the last 5 clips that were broadcasted. These clips can be played back by selecting them.
Only shown if your device is capable of running more than one application at the same time. If you select the option Hide, the playlist will disappear, but it is still running in the background, so clips will be broadcasted. You can now use other functions of your device.
On BlackBerry devices the function Hide is available when mobYclips is active e.g. in the front. You kan select the Hide option by using the BlackBerry button.
The Hide function is not available for iPhone.
Selecting Options opens a new screen with the following choices: Channel Selector, Help, About en Close the player.
The BlackBerry device does not show a Options button. The options Channel Selector, Help, About and Close the player are available when selecting the BlackBerry button.
The Channel Selector is opened in your webbrowser. The Channel Selector shows the available channels, the channels you sunscribed to an the channels you were subscribed to in the past. Using the Channel Selector you are able to subscribe or unsubscribe channels.

This option closes the applet and you will not receive clips anymore until you start the player again.
By selecting Silent the sound of the player will be muted. Other sounds of your device will not be muted. This function only works for the clip playing when selected. When you select a silent profile on your device the clips will play without sound. After selecting the function Silent, the function Stop will be shown.
The clip will stop playing and you will return to the playlist.

On BlackBerry, the functions Silent and Stop are available by using the BlackBerry button.
On iPhone you can select these function by tapping the
screen.
Button Sometimes there is shown a button on the left bottom of the screen while playing. By selecting this button you wil be directed to a service added by the channel owner.
Send a text message “moby” to 5040 and your request will be registrated. As soon as your device is supported you will be notified.
You need a data connection for your device. Most providers have Flat fee data subscriptions available. When you use a data connection without flat fee you will be charged for the use of the data connection. We advise a flat fee subscription. Connecting thru a Wireless Network Connection has no extra costs.
When we receive your test message to subscribe your device is recognized and the right version of the applet will become available for you
